Over the years, I have experimented with different scents and techniques and have come up with a lovely variety of soaps that we sell in our gift shop here at the Downtown Historic Bed and Breakfast. I also make the small bars that our guests find in their rooms when they check-in.
Beautiful Honey Oatmeal Soap
Oatmeal, Milk and Honey is one of my personal favorites. The aspect that most stands out with this scent is the organic honey and oats that I add. These ingredients have a variety of positive points, and it looks pretty on the bars when finished!
If you are ever interested in making homemade soap at home, don’t despair if you have a batch that does not turn out exactly right. Find the book “The Soapmaker’s Companion.” It has proven to be a wealth of information for me!
